Players can be divided up into two teams to compete in the same game. Up to a maximum of 23 players can participate at one time. There are various types of games that can be played. The most common are two and three team co-operative free for all, and base games. Each team has their own color vests and each player has a personalized fantasy name for their vest that is easy to remember. This way you can track your hits and see how your fared against your teammates and opponents. Come and see for yourself. Live the Excitement.

How to Get Started

When you enter Lazer Planet come to the front desk and pay for as many games as you want to play. If a game is already in session you can watch the action on our 42” monitor and start planning your own strategy. Or get charged up in the arcade while you wait. When we announce your game over the sound system, you'll be loaded into the briefing room.

The Briefing Room

Once your group is inside, a Lazer Planet crew member will explain how to use the equipment and will review the safety rules. Make sure you listen carefully so you don’t miss any of the subtle hints given throughout the briefing. This is a good time to ask questions or compliment the crew member’s amazing ability to answer every question you had before you could even ask it. Next you will be divided into 2 teams and guided into The Armory.

The Vesting Room

Once you find a pack of your color put it on over your head with the phaser gun in front (unless of course you have the amazing ability to shoot accurately behind you). Check the phaser for your personalized name. This is very important to remember as it will correspond to the print out that you'll receive at the end of the game. Once everyone is vested, in their teams the staff member will take you into the Arena. It's about this time that a quiet hush falls over the players like a calm before the storm. The pack lights go down, the arena door opens, and then your hit with the pounding music as the computer announces that you have 15 seconds to hide. And so it begins...

The Armory

Now it’s time to get suited up for your mission. Put a vest on over your head with the phaser in front – unless you really are an alien and have eyes in back of your head. Check the phaser for your personalized name. This is important to remember since it corresponds to the scorecard that you'll get at the end of the game. Once everyone is suited up and in their teams, a crew member will take you into the arena. A quiet hush falls over the players like the calm before a storm as they prepare for their adventure into space.

The Arena

The lights go down -- the arena door opens -- and as the computer announces there are 15 seconds to hide, it feels like you have been thrust into another galaxy. It’s a world of black lights, pounding music, and flashing strobe lights. You dart, you duck, you dash to find cover in the maze. An opponent’s phaser finds its target and a vibration fills your chest. Like a shooting star, you rocket around the arena in search of the enemy and rack up points.

Mission Accomplished

When your session is finished you will hear “Game Over.” Return to the Armory to remove your vest and hang up your phaser. It’s time to leave that other world and re-enter Earth’s atmosphere. You can collect your final team scores at the front desk and start planning your next thrilling mission.
